Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026 · Compliant with Saudi PDPL

Overview

Kazazone (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). Data controller: Kazazone — contact support@kazazone.com.

What we collect

  • Usage data — pages visited, referral source, browser type and device class, via anonymous analytics. No individual identifier is stored.
  • Cookies — a small cookie remembers your dark/light mode and Arabic/English language preference. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by us.
  • Contact forms — name and email, stored only to reply to your message.
  • Affiliate click data — when you click a “Buy on Amazon” link, Amazon sets its own cookie to attribute the sale to Kazazone. We never see your purchase details, payment info, or shipping address.

Third-party services

  • Amazon.sa — affiliate links redirect to Amazon, which has its own privacy notice. We do not share any data with Amazon beyond the click itself.
  • Google Analytics — anonymous aggregate traffic data. You may opt out via Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
  • WordPress & hosting — standard session cookies may be set by the WordPress platform for site functionality.

Your rights under PDPL

Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how your personal data is processed.
  • Access any personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data where no legal basis to keep it exists.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@kazazone.com with “PDPL Request” in the subject line. We respond within 30 calendar days.

Data retention & security

Contact-form data is retained only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised. We never sell your data, and we do not transfer personal data outside Saudi Arabia except where necessary for essential services (hosting, analytics) — all with equivalent or stronger data-protection safeguards.

Email communications

Kazazone may send marketing and editorial emails (new reviews, buying guides, price alerts) to people who have given us their email address. This section explains how that works.

How we collect your email. Only through clear opt-in — a subscription form on the site, a lead-magnet download form, or a checkbox on our contact form. We do not buy email lists and we do not add you to any list without your affirmative consent.

What we send. Newsletters summarising recent reviews, occasional deal alerts for products we already recommend, and editorial updates. Frequency is roughly weekly and never more than daily.

Lawful basis. Your explicit consent (PDPL Art. 6; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) for recipients in the EU/EEA/UK). You can withdraw that consent at any time without giving a reason.

Unsubscribe. Every email we send contains a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Unsubscribes are processed immediately and take effect within 72 hours at the latest. You can also email support@kazazone.com with the subject “Unsubscribe” and we will remove you manually.

Retention. If you unsubscribe we retain a one-way hash of your email for up to 12 months only to ensure we do not re-add you accidentally from a subsequent import. After 12 months we purge that record.

Who processes your email. Our email service provider is a reputable third-party ESP (for example MailPoet, Brevo, or Mailchimp). Data may be stored on servers outside Saudi Arabia under contracts that provide equivalent or stronger protection.

CAN-SPAM (United States recipients). We comply with the US CAN-SPAM Act: a working unsubscribe link in every email, an accurate sender name, a non-deceptive subject line, and a postal address where we can be contacted (shown in the email footer).

GDPR (EU/EEA/UK recipients). You have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Write to support@kazazone.com with “GDPR Request” in the subject.

No transactional misuse. We do not use transactional messages (e.g., a contact-form reply) as a vehicle for marketing unless you have separately opted in.

Policy updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page always reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
